A rich and decadent brownie batter style hummus that is a party in your mouth as it fuels your body with healthy carbs.
Ingredients
Instructions
  1. Cook chana dal. rinse and reserve cooking liquid.
  2. Process dal in a food processor or blender until smooth ( you may need to add 1-2 Tablespoons of the cooking liquid
  3. Add cocoa, sweetener and salt, process until combined.
  4. Either drizzle the mct oil on top of the hummus before serving or blend with ingredients in the food processor or blender.
Vitamix Instructions:
  1. Place chana dal, 2 TBS to ¼ cup of cooking liquid from the chana dal, vanilla extract, cocoa powder, sweetener and mineral salt into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.
  2. Select Variable 1.
  3. Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 10, then to High.
  4. Blend 1 minute, using the mini tamper to push the ingredients into the blades.
  5. Drizzle with MCT Oil after blending or add to blender with the other ingredients.
Notes
Serve with Sourdough Pretzel Crackers or these Sprouted Pretzel Shell, fruit and berries or on sprouted or on plan sourdough toast.
