Pressure Cooker Oatmeal

Easy as you please pressure cooker oatmeal, that can be frozen for use in shakes and smoothies. You can also reheat with your favorite fruit toppings for a quick and energizing breakfast.
Ingredients
  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 3 cups water (or unsweetened almond milk)
  • 1 pinch salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
  1. Place 1½ cups water in the liner of your Electric Pressure Cooker. Place trivet into liner.
  2. Using an oven safe bowl or casserole dish, place oats, salt, cinnamon and water into the bowl (casserole). Stir to combine.
  3. Using a foil sling lower uncovered bowl of oats into the liner.
  4. Secure the lid, place vent to sealing position and process on manual high pressure for 3 minutes.
  5. Allow to Natural Pressure Release (NPR) (7-15 min)
  6. Carefully remove lid and lift bowl out with your sling or long handled trivet.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before scooping into the appropriate servings.
