Enchilada Sauce

Ingredients
Spices
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 3 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons ground coriander
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons THM Super Sweet Blend
  • ½ teaspoon THM Mineral Salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
Wet Ingredients
  • 3 ounces unsalted butter
  • 12 ounces tomato puree
Instructions
  1. Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add Spices.
  2. Stir to combine and cook until fragrant, about 3 to 5 minutes.
  3. Add Tomato puree. Stir to combine well.
  4. Allow sauce to simmer for about 5-7 minutes for flavors to combine.
  5. Use immediately or place into a heat proof container and store for up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator.
