I was super happy when I made these Air Fryer Sprouted Corn Chips. They mean that I can give Rick a really healthy snack food that is on plan. He eats a lot more of these types of food than I do. But hey that is okay because his body burns through them quicker and I am always looking for something crunchy to pack in his lunch.

What’s Been Happening Around Here Lately
I have been on a mission to catch up with posting many of the things I have been making. This year brings some major changes into our lives with Rick getting ready to retire around May or so.
We will be moving into our camper and heading out to go visit family around the country. I did recently leave my in home caregiving job and will be focusing on posting here at Wonderfully Made & Dearly Loved as well as coaching through Simply Blessed Lifestyle.
I have found that I really love coaching, enough that I even went and got formally certified in health and life coaching last year. Being a small part in someone’s success in meeting their personal goals is very rewarding.
Thanks for letting me ramble a little.
About These Air Fried Sprouted Corn Chips
These are a super fun thing to make in your air fryer. They fit within the Trim Healthy Mama Lifestyle as an E.
Many of us started this journey thinking that corn was off plan and to just give it up. But over the last couple of years that has changed, with sprouted tortillas being the preferred option.
I found my sprouted corn tortillas at our local health food store on the freezer section, so if you go looking make sure to check there.
You can also use regular corn tortillas but honestly you have to really watch how many and how often you eat them because they will spike your blood sugar more so than the sprouted ones do.
How I Made Air Fried Sprouted Corn Chips
I sliced 2 of my tortillas into 16 wedges. Spritzed them minimally with oil from my Misto Oil Sprayer and coated them with some THM Mineral Salt.
Spread the wedges out evenly on my air flow racks for the Power Air Fryer Oven and positioned them toward the top.
I set the time to 8 minutes and the temperature to 370 degrees. At eight minutes I flipped them over and turned the fryer back on for 3 minutes.
If You Are Using a Drawer Style Air Fryer
Shake your basket at 8 minutes.
Some of the salt falls off and flies around as these are cooking, Honestly, that is the nature of the beast as they say because of the force of the fan.
