This Air Fryer Roast Beef was a huge hit with my husband as soon as he got home from work. For me it was a huge hit because it only took about forty five minutes from start to finish. Super easy healthy supper on the table with leftovers for hot roast beef sandwiches the next day.

I love supporting mamas that are using their air fryers and those that are just starting out with them. This is a classic roast beef that has been roasted using my Power Air Fryer Oven.
I did use the rotisserie to prepare this air fryer roast beef. However you can also use a drawer style fryer so long as your roast fits into the basket.
They Type Of Beef Roast I Used
I used a top round roast that was about three and a half pounds which was almost too small for my air fryer, so my suggestion would be to use a 5 pound roast so that the spears solidly go into your roast. The reason I used this type of roast is that it was on sale (as simple as that).
The Seasoning I Used
I used this French Onion Soup Mix to season the outside of this roast beef. It is simple easy and delicious. You can add herbs to your family’s liking or use a totally different seasoning all together.
You simply rub your roast with a couple teaspoons of oil and then sprinkle your seasoning pressing it into the surface of the roast. You can then spritz the outside with more oil, but I did not do that because it can cause the rub to burn.
Air Fryer Roast Beef Recipe
- Serves: 8
- Serving size: 4 oz
- Calories: 402

- 5 pounds Round roast, trimmed (Mine was a top round)
- 2 tablespoons French Onion Soup Mix
- 2 teaspoons avocado oil
- Place roast on rotisserie spit.
- Rub oil on roast and cover with the french onion soup mix, pressing it into the roast.
- Place roast into your Air Fryer and secure the spit.
- Roast at 360 degrees for 30-35 minutes (rare), 40-45 minutes (medium/medium well)
- Tent roast and allow to rest for 10 minutes before serving
- Adjustments for a drawer style:
- Rub roast with oil. preheat air fryer to 360 degrees
- Place roast fat side down in the drawer
- Roast for 15 minutes. Turn Roast over and roast for 15 minutes for Rare
Rare = 130 Degrees F
Medium = 150 Degrees F
Well = 170 Degrees F
