How To Make Cozy Cocoa Mix For Gifting
I love packaging single servings of this cocoa mix in handmade envelopes tied with a ribbon. You can also put it into snack size zip top bags with a cute tag with mixing instructions.
I also have picked up a variety of glass jars or even the holiday themed ones at the dollar store or other retailers to gift a family size jar to friends and family.
This recipe fits perfectly in a pint size mason jar .
The Jar pictured is a 14 oz Working Storage Jar.

How To Add A Flavor Twist to Your Cozy Cocoa Mix
You can add a wonderful flavor twist by using a 1/4 tsp of peppermint extract to your cup as you are mixing your cocoa for a peppermint twist.
Add 1/2 tsp of orange extract for a chocolate orange treat
Add a sprinkle of cinnamon for an amazing and healthy Mexican Style Hot Cocoa in your cup.

Can this be made without the lecithin?
Judy says
yes ma’am 🙂
Brenda McClure says
Do you know how this could be tweaked to use unflavored protein powder?
Judy says
I have used unflavored protein powder in this also, you just need to add a bit more sweetener like 1-2 TBS of pyure.
