I feel so very blessed to be able to share this Hubby Lovin’ Seasoning mix with all of you. This is a tried and true favorite of so many families that are living a trim healthy mama lifestyle.
Because of the popularity of this seasoning when using your air fryer or cooking your family meals, I reached out and got permission to share a bulk mix with you and some exciting news.

Where The Inspiration Came From
After seeing posts in the THM Air Fryer Mama’s Group of mama’s coating everything under the sun in the seasoning from the original Hubby Lovin Chicken™ recipe located on page 218 of Trim Healty Mama:Trim Healthy Table. For ease of use I decided to make a bulk mix of the blend so that I didn’t have to keep making it before air frying my chicken or veggies.
One of my favorite ways to use this bulk seasoning mix is as the coating when I make Air Fryer Blooming Onions.
Why You Need To Make Hubby Lovin’™ Seasoning Mix
We all have those days that are super rushed and we just want to shake or sprinkle something on our chicken, pork, beef etc … to get dinner on the table as fast as possible.
So having this seasoning mix ready to go just makes meal prep a bit easier and it only takes about 5-6 minutes to measure everything into a bowl and whisk it together. So yes ma’am let’s do THAT!!
How To Make this Super Quick Seasoning Mix
This is seasoning mix is super easy to make and you can make it dairy free if needed so that is a such a win win for older mama’s like me. Make sure you check the notes to find the dairy free version tweaks.
The Ingredients Needed
- Grated Parmesan Cheese {Iuse the green can stuff}
- THM Nutritional Yeast Flakes
- Dried Parsley Flakes
- Paprika
- Gralic Powder
- Dried Oregano
- THM Mineral Salt
- Ground Black Pepper
- Cayenne Pepper
Equipment You Will Need
- a medium to large mixing bowl or food processor
- a whisk
- a storage container that holds approximately 8 cups
Exciting News From Trim Healthy Mama HQ
While I was in communication with THM HQ, asking for permission to post this recipe. They shared with me some exciting news! THM is planning to launch a premade version of this mix, so keep your eyes pealed for that!! AND they are considering making a premixed dairy free option which I know will help a bunch of people!!

Hubby Lovin’™ Seasoning Mix Recipe
- Serves: 36
- Serving size: 2 TBS
- Calories: 82
- Fat: 3g
- Carbohydrates: 6g
- Sodium: 572mg
- Fiber: 3g
- Protein: 7g
- Cholesterol: 9mg
- 4½ cups grated parmesan cheese, green can works great for this *see Notes for DF version
- 1½ cups nutritional yeast * see Note
- 1 cup dried parsley
- ¼ cup paprika
- ¼ cup garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons dried oregano
- 2 tablespoons THM Mineral Salt
- 2 tablespoons ground black pepper
- 1½ teaspoons cayenne pepper
- In a medium to large bowl, mix all ingredients until well combined.
- You could also buzz this in your food processor for about 10 seconds.
- Store in the fridge or freezer for best results.
- This mix makes approximately 8 cups or 2 quarts of dry seasoning.
If you need a dairy free version ~ substitute nutritional yeast for the parmesan
If you do not have nutritional yeast ~ use all grated parmesan cheese.

When making the DF version, do you put a total of 6 cups nutritional yeast or do you reduce the amount?
