These quick and easy air fryer apple slices are a wonderful snack for adults and children alike!
I love that they only take a few minutes to prepare and fuel my body with a healthy low fat treat that fits my trim healthy lifestyle.

I really love simple everyday snacks and these wonderful apple slices fit that description perfectly. Sure they are a bit of extra work than just slicing up an apple and dipping it into some on plan yogurt, but let me tell you it was worth it.
Our weather is dangerously frigid right now and i kind of wanted something that was a little on the warm side for a snack today. I had grabbed a couple granny smith apples to make waldorf cottage cheese salad, but that is cold.
As I was cutting up my apple, I figured hey why not try them in the air fryer. So out came my handy container of Low Carb Brown Sugar, the ground cinnamon and a bit of salt.
I preheated my Nuwave Brio 3qt Air Fryer to 390 degrees, dropped some of my apple slices into the basket making sure not to over crowd it and slid them in to cook.
Make Sure To Have Some Protein
Now these apple slices are not totally dry, so they can be a bit sticky. I dipped my slices into some 0% Greek Yogurt to get a bit of protein into my snack and stay on plan with my trim healthy lifestyle.
The yogurt helps to blunt your blood sugar spiking like crazy from the natural sugar in the apple, so make sure you add that with these handy air fryer apple slices. I used about 3 Tablespoons of yogurt.

Air Fryer Apple Slices Recipe
- Serves: 1
- Calories: 63
- Carbohydrates: 16g
- Sodium: 146mg
- Fiber: 3g
- Cholesterol: 0mg
- 1 medium Granny Smith apple (cored and sliced thinly)
- 2 teaspoons Low Carb Brown Sugar
- ⅛ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch THM Mineral Salt
- Core and slice your apple sprinkle apple slices with low carb brown sugar, cinnamon and mineral salt
- Heat your Air fryer to 390 degrees
- Place slices in your basket leaving room between the slices. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side. Place slices in a bowl to cool.
- Enjoy!

What a great idea.nim going to try this tomorrow. I don’t have granny Smith apples, do you think it will work with other types of apples? I think mine are Gala.
