Air fryer roasted garlic has become a common occurance in our home since we got our air fryer. Roasting garlic has always been something I put off because of the time it occupies my oven. You can’t really do anything but roast garlic because the flavors infuse anything that is in the oven with it. My air fryer has helped make it easier to roast my garlic and still use my oven for baking other items as I need to without fear of the flavors transferring.

Why You Should Roast Garlic
Roasted garlic is wonderfully creamy and flavorful. It is slightly sweet yet savory at the same time. We don’t always think about garlic as something to indulge in or that it can even satisfy a craving. Yet it can.
Yes it has a distinct smell and to be honest you probably don’t want to kiss anyone that hasn’t indulged with you in this savory treat. (I’m lucky becuase Rick loves it as much as I do)
Ways that I Use Roasted Garlic
Since we got our Nuwave Brio Air Fryer, I have been using a lot of roasted garlic to season things like my Basic Low Carb Yeast Bread as well as adding it to my marinara sauce, alfredo sauce etc. It adds very few calories with lots of health benefits.
Why I Love Using My Air Fryer to Make Roasted Garlic
I have really been using our Air Fryer since we got it around Christmas. Making dishes like these Air Fryer Pepper Jack Chicken Poppers, Hubby Lovin Chicken strips from the Trim Healthy Table Cookbook, Super Crispy Chicken Wings, Burgers and awesome Oven Roasted Okra. I’m now adding Roasted Garlic to the list that just keeps growing.

Here’s My Air Fryer Roasted Garlic Recipe
- Serves: 24
- Serving size: 1-2 cloves
- Calories: 6
- Fat: 1g
- Cholesterol: 0mg
- 4 heads garlic
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil (or coconut oil)
- Slice the tops off of your garlic heads.
- Place on a square of foil that will cover the heads.
- Drizzle with oil. Fold foil around garlic and seal.
- Place in the packet in your air fryer basket.
- Cook at 390 degrees for 15 Minutes or until garlic is golden.
- Carefully remove packet from air fryer and squeeze garlic cloves into a small jar.
- You can also serve immediately on low carb bread or crackers.
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Place packet on a baking sheet and bake for 20-30 minutes or until golden.
- Carefully remove packet from your oven and squeeze garlic cloves into a small jar.
