I’m going to share my tips and tricks for Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate with you today!
Even before I began my Trim and Healthy lifestyle, I loved iced coffee drinks. That was before there were all of the cold brew coffee concentrates for sale in the grocery store, so I learned how to make my own through some trial and error.
It saves us a lot of money and doesn’t take any extra time, especially if you are like me and do your prep-work every couple of days.
I use this cold brewed coffee concentrate to make iced coffees, shakes with coffee flavors, ice cream, frozen custard, cakes, frosting and so many other things. I’m sure I will be linking back to it often as I share those recipes with you
I also want to try it fermented like kombucha to add extra probiotic into my diet.
All you need are:
1 cup ground coffee
2-3 cups of Water
a Mason jar (I use a quart jar) or a French Press
You can brew this one of two ways
In the refrigerator
Sitting on the counter
You don’t have to be following the Trim Healthy Mama lifestyle to do this it works for those that still enjoy sugar also, but I would urge you to check out Trim Healthy Mama (affiliate link) so you can enjoy the same wonderful healthy foods that I do!!

Hi there Judy, I like the way you have outlined the procedure of iced coffee concentrate. |It is something that I am going to try over at the weekend. I am a fan of iced coffee drinks myself and like blending it with smoothies. Thanks a lot for the share.

Thanks so much for stopping by I hope you enjoy the concentrate

You say this makes two servings. A half cup of coffee grounds is sure going to pack an overwhelming caffeine punch , isn’t it? Do you really only make two servings of iced coffee with this? Or have I missed something?

I need to adjust that– I’m sorry it actually makes a bunch more than that a I only use 1-2 TBS per serving now. Thank you for bringing the error to my attention 🙂
