This Grilled Romaine Salad is a great way to change-up your salad routine. It’s smokey flavors add depth to the flavor profiles of everything you top your salad with.

I love salads during the hot summer months they are much lighter and full of all the wonderful vegetables from our garden and the produce section.

A wonderful smokey salad option.
  • 1 Romaine Heart
  • 2 TBS coconut oil, reduce to 1 tsp for lighter meals
  • 1 tsp favorite seasoning
  • Extra vegetables, grilled or fresh
  • salad dressing
  1. cut romaine hearts in half, drizzle or spray with oil. Season to taste.
  2. Place on hot grill until slightly charred.
  3. Chop and top with your toppings.
